Commissions If you have any historical event that you would like recorded as a painting, military or otherwise, contact David. Perhaps a portrait of a relative in (or out of ) uniform, or an action picture of a military event (in any period or branch of service) Contact David by email and he will be only too pleased to discuss your requirements in detail. The subject does not necessarily have to be Military Art. (see GALLERY for references ) The Work Once the research (if any ) has been done and work has commenced, the painting will be photographed at several stages during its production, and the image emailed / sent to the client. Please click on 'CONTACT'for more detrails The painting will only be completed, varnished and delivered when the client has confirmed in writing (or email) that he / she is quite satisfied with the photographic result. Medium Paintings are normally in Acrylic and can be done on canvas, Daler board, or hardboard/MDF Canvas or board and up to and including 70cms x 40cms will be supplied free of charge. Costs Work is charged by the hour at £5.00 per hour, packing & carriage being free of charge for items not larger than 70cmsx40cms David is sometimes asked for a quotation for the cost of a painting. This can be quite difficult to quantify as his paintings are very detailed, but where a required painting can be compared, perhaps with an existing or similar painting which might have a recorded cost ( seeGallery ) then a general estimateb can sometimes be given, but often the difference will depend upon amount of detail and any research involved. Please contact David by email to discuss this point.(Go to 'CONTACT')
